We got great value for our money at this hotel. The room was cozy with ample space, good air conditioning, and a nice view. The staff treated us amazingly well and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was perfect for a mellow trip through the Black Forest.
The breakfast could have been better with a bit more variety.

My partner and I were instantly smitten with the charming and cozy atmosphere of this hotel. The interior design effortlessly blends modern and traditional elements, creating a truly captivating ambiance. The attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel, from the beautiful architecture to the romantic garden. The food in the restaurant exceeded our expectations, presented in a fine dining style. Our room was exquisitely decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting space. The welcome champagne and nuts were a thoughtful gesture. The hotel's location in the heart of the old town centre was perfect. Although there were a few minor drawbacks such as the issue with the bathroom lighting and slightly uncomfortable toilet seat covers, overall our experience at Die Reichsstadt - Hotel Spa Und Restaurant was exceptional. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Staying in the heart of the old city was a unique experience with several highlights to visit or walks to take. On top of that, the attached restaurant was one of the best places for dinner in town. the spacious room had a comfortable bed and a nice view of the surrounding old buildings. the bathroom was clean and had all the necessary amenities. the breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from.
The air conditioning in the room was not very effective during the heatwave, making it difficult to sleep comfortably.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the festive decorations and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The breakfast spread was fantastic and well presented. The location was great, making it easy for me to explore the town and its nearby attractions.
My stay was dampened by the unhelpful and unfriendly staff, who seemed disinterested in accommodating my requests for any help during my stay. The heating system in the room was problematic, and the room wasn't cleaned properly during my stay.

Spent Easter at this hotel and had a fantastic time! the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, with lots of little touches that made our stay more enjoyable. There was fresh fruit in the room and a kettle to make tea. Breakfast was a highlight with plenty of delicious options including vegan choices. the location was convenient for exploring the local area with free public transport. We also enjoyed the beautiful garden seating area for breakfast.
The limited privacy between the bedroom and bathroom, but this was a minor issue. we had an amazing stay and would definitely return.

The hotel had a great customer service, with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of meats, cheeses, breads, and even fresh juices. The location was convenient, with easy access to the train station and other attractions. Plus, the spa in the hotel was a wonderful addition, providing a relaxing experience after a long day of work.
One downside was the noise in the room facing the walkway, which made it difficult for a light sleeper like me to get a good night's rest. there was one staff member who was unfriendly and unhelpful, which took away from the overall experience of the hotel.
